Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to process and plant design activities.
- Develop process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and technical specifications.
- Manage engineering projects from feasibility studies through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Provide technical expertise on water treatment, process improvement, and plant optimisation initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Oversee procurement activities and support equipment selection and specification.
- Coordinate fabrication, installation, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
- Conduct technical evaluations, troubleshooting, and root-cause analyses to resolve complex process challenges.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, proposals, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings, site inspections, and project progress reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng or BTech Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience within process engineering, water treatment, manufacturing, fabrication, or project-based environments.
- Proven experience in process design, plant design, and project execution.
- Knowledge of fabrication, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Experience managing projects through the full engineering lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A dynamic, adaptable, and solutions-driven approach.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
