Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client, a professional fire-safety company with over 6 years of experience creating fire-safe environments with highly professional consultants, is searching for a Mechanical Fire Engineer to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng.Responsibilities:
- Assess the potential for fire scenarios, fire loads, and fire spread patterns
- Select equipment and materials, and design the layout, configuration, and installation of the system
- Make recommendations for fire safety systems, procedures, and materials.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and materials for potential hazards.
- Work with other disciplines, such as architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers, to ensure fire protection systems are compatible with the facility.
- Ensure fire protection systems meet code requirements.
Requirements:
- PR registered (or in the process of being registered)
- Knowledge of Fire Codes.
- Mechanical engineer wanting a Fire certificate also acceptable.
- 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
