Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Overseeing and assessing the quality of manufacturing, production and assembly operations to ensure compliance with established quality standards and customer requirements for reliability and workmanship excellence.
- Interpreting technical specifications and engineering drawings to identify defects, discrepancies, and non?conformities in products, equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Developing and implementing corrective and remedial actions to improve quality outcomes and prevent recurrence of non?conformities.
- Implementing and maintaining quality protocols and standards in accordance with international directives received.
- Analysing quality trends and compiling detailed reports for management, operational, production and assembly teams.
- Recording inspection results, measurements, assessments and evaluations in the prescribed formats.
- Utilising specialised quality control tools, equipment and techniques to perform inspections and evaluations.
- Making informed, independent decisions to resolve quality?related issues and conflicts while maintaining operational excellence.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing training and development in quality control and industry best practices.
- Providing professional service and technical support to dealers.
- Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding operational, production and assembly information.
- Reporting to management and the Board of Directors on matters impacting operations, budgets and strategic objectives.
- Drafting quality?related reports, proposals and recommendations in line with prescribed standards and formats.
- Ensuring all inspections, audits and checks are completed prior to the release of any products, equipment, components, or goods to dealers or customers.
- Ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures relating to quality inspections, audits, health and safety, housekeeping, logistics, procurement, training and inter?branch operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant technical qualification in engineering, quality control, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem?solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
