Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects from concept through to commissioning and close-out.
- Develop and execute project strategies that align with business and operational objectives.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and project risks.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineering, maintenance, operations, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Drive project governance, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement, efficiency gains, and long-term value creation.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and project teams where required.
- Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' experience leading and delivering projects within a manufacturing, mineral processing, mining, or industrial environment.
- Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects with significant capital value.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contractors, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive project delivery in fast-paced operational environments.
- Professional registration and/or PMP, PrCP, or equivalent project management certification will be advantageous.
