Job Summary
Qualification- Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy Degree.
- Project Management Qualification would be advantageous.
- At least 6 years of experience on capital processing equipment in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering and project experience.
- Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.
- Must be able to execute projects with Senior Management.
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
- The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Excellent project management and supervision skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices.
- Manage own projects as well as the assigned team of Project Engineers and Administrators in accordance with the company’s specifications and requirements.
- This will be accomplished by the Project Managers direct interface with and via constant management by the company’s Project Directors and the company's Board.
- The Project Manager will have a project team assigned, that should be carefully managed, developed, and guided to deliver successful projects.
- Interface with the various departments for design, drawings, quality, logistics, finance etc. will be required.
- The Project Manager is directly responsible for the project’s success or failure.
