Job Summary
Key Roles & Responsibilities Quotations, Costing & Invoicing Prepare accurate project costings and budgets Compile and issue quotations based on drawings, BOQs, and supplier pricing Prepare and issue progress claims, invoices, and final accounts Monitor project costs and identify potential overruns or savings Track variations, additional works, and change orders Supplier & Subcontractor Management Source, manage, and communicate with suppliers and subcontractors Request and evaluate supplier quotations Place purchase orders and track deliveries Ensure supplier pricing, lead times, and quality standards are met Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies Client Liaison Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Communicate project progress, timelines, and changes Handle client queries, variations, and approvals professionally Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business Project Management & Coordination Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate internal teams, site staff, and subcontractors Ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, budget, and deadlines Support site teams with documentation and project administration Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate project records, contracts, and correspondence Prepare project reports, cost tracking, and cash flow forecasts Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements Support management with project and financial reporting Key Skills & Competencies Basic understanding of construction costings and project workflows Good organisational and time management skills Clear communication skills and willingness to learn negotiation basics Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to assist in managing multiple tasks/projects Good problem-solving skills with guidance from senior team members Qualifications & Experience (Preferred) 1–2 years’ experience in a construction or related industry Basic knowledge of construction contracts, BOQs, and drawings Familiarity with accounting, costing, or project management software Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office (intermediate level preferred)
