Job & Company Description:
Our client is a specialist supplier of heavy-duty electrical connectors and equipment engineered for harsh mining and tunnelling applications. With a strong footprint in the industry, they are known for delivering reliable, high-performance solutions to some of the most challenging operational environments.
This role is suited to a seasoned Electrical Foreman who remains hands-on but is ready to leverage their site expertise in a more strategic capacity. You will oversee installations, maintenance, and fault-finding on-site, while working closely with clients to identify opportunities to introduce and recommend fit-for-purpose electrical solutions.
Your ability to influence decision-making at site level and build trust with key stakeholders will be critical to success.
Education:
- Trade Test Electrician (essential)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 –10 years’ experience within mining or tunnelling electrical environments
- Proven experience in a Foreman or Senior supervisory role
- Strong exposure to heavy-duty electrical connectors, power distribution, and underground electrical systems
- Solid fault-finding and maintenance experience in harsh, high-demand environments
- Ability to engage with site management, engineers, and procurement teams
- Demonstrated commercial awareness with the ability to identify product opportunities on-site
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Sound knowledge of health and safety standards within mining operations
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites
