About the Role
A leading organisation in the energy and electrical solutions space is seeking a technically strong and client-focused Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between engineering and commercial teams, delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the pre-sales process
- Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals
- Assist with tender documentation and bid submissions
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure solution alignment
- Conduct site visits to assess client requirements where necessary
- Ensure all proposed solutions are technically sound and commercially viable
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a pre-sales, technical support, or solutions engineering role
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, energy solutions, or power distribution
- Exposure to smart metering or AMI solutions is highly advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and client requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
