Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring decision.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Develop and maintain a talent pool for future organisational requirements.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Implement and promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance evaluations.
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture.
- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarise new hires with company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for employees.
- Support professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Collaborate with external training providers when necessary.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, leave policies, and employee assistance programs.
- Prepare and update HR documents, such as job descriptions, employment contracts, and organisational charts.
Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant labour laws and ensure company policies and practices are in compliance.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
