Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is currently looking to employ a Debriefing Clerk at their warehouse in Cape Town, Blackheath.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF-Level 4).
- 3 to 4 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of OHSA 85 of 1993 regulations.
- Awareness of handling dangerous goods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP software.
- Must reside in the Western Cape.
- Excellent time management abilities, strong organizational and planning skills.
- Effective communication and numeracy skills.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Offload and debrief delivery vehicles upon return, verifying all documents and ensuring receipt of expected stock.
- Manage inventory within the rotation storage area to maintain organized stock control.
- Ensure rotation batteries are correctly placed for inspection, charging and cleaning processes.
- Pack all claim and scrap batteries on designated pallets following established procedures.
- Provide daily management updates and reports to the warehouse supervisor/manager.
- Support and comply with all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, legal, environmental and quality-compliant workplace.
- Reconcile purchase orders, collect necessary documentation, update trip sheets and proof of deliveries.
- Verify purchase orders for correct dates, full names and signatures of Receiving Clerks.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and reconciliations.
- Address any driver or delivery-related issues promptly during shifts.
- Handle receiving and dispatch matters efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Operate within company controls and procedures to uphold the integrity of operations.
- Report risks or concerns within the operational area to management.
- Promote adherence to regulations and procedures to avoid wasteful or irregular expenditure.
- Assist employees and foster effective working relationships.
- Identify and resolve issues within the operating area aligned with company's core values.
- Support both internal and external customers to ensure high service standards.
- Manage and coordinate the team to ensure efficient operations, cost control, excellent customer service and a safe working environment.
