Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client in the Aviation Manufacturing industry is looking for a Supply Chain Compliance Officer based in Gauteng. The Supply Chain Compliance Officer will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation in the aviation manufacturing industry. This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote ethical business practices and uphold the company's reputation.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and maintain supplier contracts and forecasts
- Monitor and manage supplier performance and implement corrective actions as required
- Develop and maintain Supply Chain OPPS mapping
- Manage, and maintain OPPS processes and lead audits on these processes
- To ensure that external supply to The Company is reliable and cost-effective
- To ensure the organization's financial and performance targets are met
- To ensure robust processes throughout the supply chain and developed and maintained
- To manage suppliers and their performance through ongoing interaction and sharing of Rate Readiness data
- To ensure continuity of supply and limiting of stockouts and obsolescence
- To maintain auditable processes to ensure ultimate efficiency within the Supply Chain
- Competent and compliant supplier contracts
- Manage Conbid process
- Create and maintain accurate forecasts
- To ensure robust supplier mapping
- Import Permit Management
- Manage Approved Supplier list
- Manage Insurance claims
- Risk Management and maintaining a departmental risk register
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant experience in the aviation manufacturing industry
- SAPICS CSCP &/or CPIM qualifications are desirable
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SYSPRO
- Knowledge of any other ERP software
- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Able to work under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and achieve set targets
- Engage the interest and participation of others with a collaborative approach and commitment to team development
