Job Summary
Applicants must have the following requirements: Must have a Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying. Must be registered with SACQSP as a Professional Quantity Surveyor. Must have at least 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, including at least 5 years in a senior Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management role. Must have proven experience on major mining, minerals processing, infrastructure, industrial, EPCM, or multidisciplinary construction projects. Must have extensive experience in contract administration, cost control, valuations, variation orders, and claims management. Must have demonstrable experience working with FIDIC contracts, as well as NEC, JBCC, or bespoke EPC/EPCM contracts. Must have experience working within an integrated project controls environment, collaborating with planning, cost, and project management teams. Must have a sound working knowledge of cost management systems, ERP platforms, and project controls software. Must have a strong understanding of mining projects, mineral processing facilities, and multidisciplinary construction environments.
