Project Overview
Join a landmark road construction project consisting of:
Approximately 1,086 km of dual carriageway CRCP highway from the Niger border to the coast.
Approximately 760 km of dual carriageway CRCP coastal highway.
Additional associated road infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily earthworks and bridge construction activities.
Lead site teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials.
Monitor productivity and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Report site progress and any issues to project management.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Foreman on major earthworks and/or bridge construction projects.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Experience on large civil engineering or road infrastructure projects is preferred.
Willingness to work on a rotational assignment in West Africa.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: USD 5,000 – USD 6,000 per month, depending on experience.
USD 500 Living Out Allowance (LOA) per month.
Accommodation provided.
Rotation currently includes two trips home per year, totaling 36 days of leave annually.
South African employees may be offered a rotation of three trips home per year, subject to project arrangements.
