Harmony Gold Mine is seeking a highly organized and compliant Group Technology Supplier, Assets and Sourcing Co-ordinator to manage software assets, licensing, and vendor agreements for Group Technology. Operating in a surface office environment (0:100 field to office ratio), the successful candidate will ensure organization-wide compliance with licensing regulations, optimize technology costs, and maintain positive relationships with technology vendors. This critical position handles a high volume of complex tasks under severe time constraints, necessitating an ethical, assertive professional who will rigorously uphold company policies and the Mine Health and Safety Act. Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria: Education: Tertiary qualification in Technology Contracts Management (such as a Diploma in Paralegal Law). Experience: 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, alongside 2–3 years of specialized experience in technology contract coordination and vendor engagement. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills. Certifications: ITIL certification. Licensing & Medical: A valid Code B/EB driver's license and a valid Medical Fitness Certificate. Job Description Summary The Group Technology Supplier, Assets and Sourcing Co-ordinator will be responsible for keeping the organization’s technology software infrastructure compliant, structured, and cost-effective. Key accountabilities include: Software Asset & License Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all software assets, licenses, and renewal dates; track asset lifecycles from acquisition to decommissioning; and conduct regular audits to reconcile discrepancies. Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and relevant regulations to eliminate legal and financial risks; document all usage; and proactively mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, such as performance failures or security breaches. Cost Optimization: Track software usage to identify unused or underutilized licenses, collaborating with team leads to minimize technology expenses through consolidation and license optimization. Contract & Supplier Management: Manage the day-to-day vendor interface, oversee onboarding processes, track contract expiration dates, and maintain a secure repository of vendor contracts to assist Supply Chain with timely executions. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and monitor vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalate issues when necessary, and generate analytical reports on vendor performance trends, software inventory, and costs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary bridge and point of contact between Group Technology, business units, vendors, and internal teams like Legal and Supply Chain to ensure seamless alignment.
