About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, well‑spoken Receptionist / Front Office Assistant to manage customer interactions, handle incoming calls, assist with parts enquiries, and support daily workshop administration. The ideal candidate has experience in an automotive environment and understands basic parts and workshop processes.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and assist with enquiries in a professional manner
Answer and manage incoming calls, bookings, and messages
Prepare job cards and capture customer details accurately
Assist with automotive parts enquiries, quotes, and availability checks
Communicate with mechanics and management regarding job progress
Maintain reception area, filing, and general office organization
Follow up with clients regarding collections, updates, and quotations
Provide administrative support to workshop management
Minimum Requirements
2–3 years’ experience as a receptionist or admin assistant
Automotive parts knowledge (LDV, HDV, trailers)
Strong telephone and customer‑service skills
Computer literacy: Email, Excel, Word, job card systems
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced workshop environment
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Professional, friendly, and well‑organised
Preferred Skills
Experience in a mechanical or automotive workshop
Ability to assist with parts sourcing and supplier.
