We are seeking an experienced Panel Beater with aluminium repair experience to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will repair vehicle body damage to a high standard, working safely and efficiently with both aluminium and conventional vehicle materials. Key Responsibilities Assess vehicle body damage and determine the appropriate repair method. Carry out panel beating, reshaping, dent repairs, and panel replacement. Perform aluminium repairs using approved tools, equipment, and procedures. Use workshop equipment such as dent-pulling systems, welders, induction heaters, and alignment tools. Prepare vehicles and panels for repair, refinishing, and reassembly. Follow manufacturer repair procedures and workplace quality standards. Keep aluminium work areas, tools, and equipment clean and segregated from steel to prevent cross-contamination. Maintain a safe, tidy workshop and follow health and safety requirements. Work effectively with estimators, technicians, and other workshop staff to meet repair schedules. Requirements Proven experience as a panel beater in an automotive repair environment. Demonstrable experience repairing aluminium vehicle panels. Competence using aluminium repair tools and equipment. Knowledge of vehicle body structures and safe repair practices. Ability to read repair instructions and work to quality standards. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
