Job Summary
The HR Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating new hire orientations.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
3. Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, and update relevant HR documentation accordingly.
4. Assist in benefits administration, including enrolments, terminations, and inquiries, and serve as a point of contact for employees.
5. Coordinate training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and managing training materials.
6. Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, payroll adjustments, and resolving payroll discrepancies in collaboration with the finance department.
7. Prepare HR-related reports.
8. Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Qualifications:
1. 1-3 years of experience in HR administration or a related role, with a solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong data entry and analytical skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
