Job Summary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess one or more of the following recognised IT qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information
Systems, or related field.
- Strong MS SQL Server skills (Query writing and DB maintenance)
- Strong accounting or actuarial background (advantageous)
- Advanced Excel skills (linking sheets to databases, pivots, formulas etc)
- Programming skills and qualifications (VBA, C#, ASP.NET, Python etc) (advantageous)
- CompTIA A+ Certification (advantageous).
- CompTIA Network+ Certification (advantageous).
- Relevant IT support or systems administration certifications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in an IT support or IT administration role.
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of networking principles, routers, switches, and wireless systems.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installations.
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices and data protection principles.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, FMCG, or abattoir
environment will be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Basic networking and server administration knowledge.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of printers, CCTV systems, VoIP systems, biometric systems, and access control
systems will be beneficial.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to work after hours, weekends, or standby when operationally required. Note that
the abattoir is a 24/7 operation.
- Own reliable transport will be advantageous. 2x4 or 4x4 advantageous for farm.
- Clear criminal record may be required.
