Job Summary
What this role involvesDesigning and implementing scalable cloud architectures on AWS, Azure or GCP, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code, ensuring high availability, security and performance of SaaS platforms, and optimising cloud costs. You'll work closely with DevOps and development teams on a modern, high-impact platform.

What THE ROLE IS looking for
5+ years in cloud engineering or cloud architecture. Strong hands-on AWS, Azure or GCP experience, a track record of designing production-grade systems, and solid understanding of networking, security and scalability. Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) is essential. BSc in Computer Science / IT or equivalent. Afrikaans is a nice-to-have for the Netherlands market.
Bonus points for
Microservices architecture experience, SaaS or product environment background, security and compliance knowledge, cost optimisation expertise, or one of: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
