Our client is seeking a Sales Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making by analysing sales performance, market trends, and customer behaviour. This role plays a key part in providing actionable insights that enable the sales team to achieve growth targets while optimising forecasting, planning, and business performance across the organisation.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product teams, you will develop reports, dashboards, and predictive models that support business planning, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do
Analyse sales performance, customer behaviour, and market trends.
Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators.
Present insights and recommendations to sales leadership and key stakeholders.
Support sales forecasting using historical data and predictive modelling.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations to align sales forecasts with inventory and production planning.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
Benchmark sales performance against industry trends.
Identify opportunities for new markets, products, and customer segments.
Support the development of sales strategies using data-driven insights.
Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of sales campaigns and initiatives.
Recommend pricing, product mix, and distribution improvements.
Monitor sales performance and identify key business drivers.
Support incentive programmes and sales performance initiatives.
Recommend process improvements to improve reporting and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with IT to enhance reporting systems and automate routine processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
2–3 years' experience in Sales Analysis, Business Analysis, or a similar analytical role.
Automotive industry experience will be advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
