External Sales Representative

Location: Pretoria
Salary Package: Basic Salary of R20,000 per month plus commission, company vehicle, petrol card, and phone/data allowance.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to join a well-established organization in Pretoria. This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong experience in the automotive industry who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth through new and existing customer accounts.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric (non-negotiable).

4 to 5 years' external sales experience within the automotive sector, including fleets, workshops, or retail environments.

Experience working with spare parts suppliers or spare shops will be advantageous.

Valid driver's license.

Willingness to travel within the sales territory.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Computer literacy.

Strong automotive product knowledge.

Extensive motor vehicle repair knowledge.

Electrical, mechanical, and diesel knowledge.

Technical automotive background.

Technical diesel background.

Key Responsibilities

Generate sales through servicing existing customers and developing new business opportunities.

Cold call and prospect potential new customers.

Meet with customers to promote products and services.

Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products.

Demonstrate products and provide technical guidance where required.

Resolve customer queries and maintain strong client relationships.

Report directly to the Sales Manager.
