Fantastic opportunity for a HR Generalist with an automotive company in Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end hiring, from sourcing to facilitating the onboarding process.
- Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and handling disciplinary matters.
- Compliance & Admin: Ensure compliance with labor regulations and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records.
- Performance & Talent: Coordinate performance review cycles, training, and talent development initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Assist with payroll administration and explain benefits programs to employees
Requirements:
- Relevant Human Resources or related tertiary qualification
- 3–5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role
- 1–2 years’ experience in payroll administration
- 2–4 years’ experience in industrial relations
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing the full B-BBEE function
- Experience with Sage VIP Payroll (advantageous)
- Experience within the MIBCO environment (advantageous)
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Experience in the automotive motor industry
