Job Summary
- We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Financial Systems and Data Analyst to join a dynamic finance team in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong systems, data, and financial expertise within a retail environment.
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure sound financial management of the financial systems and financial data on behalf of the Finance Division for the Company. To be at the forefront of the sector on the basis of sound financial policy and performance, corporate governance, compliance and risk management to create maximum shareholder wealth/value.
Duties:
- Systems and financial data
- Syspro proficient
- SQL proficient
- Extensive knowledge of the data warehouse and data analytics tools and principles
- Business automation and robotics knowledge in the context of a finance environment
- Understanding of accounting, financial and management reporting principles and processes in the context of the retail industry
- Project management skills
- In-depth knowledge of policies, practices, processes and systems
- Excellent understanding of the business operating model
- Expressed and implied ethical responsibilities
- Excellent understanding of the systems, policies and processes that facilitate The Group Strategy
Minimum Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial systems and financial data management (administration)
- BCom / Relevant Degree
- NQF Level 7 or higher
