Job Summary
We have a position for an Accountant with a vehicle dealership in Spartan.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with full accounting function within a dealership environment; Reconcile bank accounts, floorplans, debtors and creditors; Process supplier invoices and vehicle-related payments; Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting; Ensure accurate capturing of vehicle and parts transactions; Support VAT, PAYE, and tax submissions; Assist with audits and internal controls; Maintain and update accounting records on relevant systems.
Requirements:
- Com Degree in Accounting or Finance (completed – essential)
- Minimum 3-4 years' accounting experience in the automotive industry and worked in brands such HINO, UD Trucks, Toyota etc.
- Experience with motor dealership systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, CDK, etc.)
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
