Job Summary
Job Overview:
- To ensure that all equipment is running and maintained in the facility and to be involved and participate in the company's activities. This role requires a hands-on problem solver with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical qualification e.g. millwright etc.
- 8 - 10 years experience in a technical / maintenance environment
- Robotics experience (FANUC experience advantageous)
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure availability of equipment at all times
- Ensure preventative maintenance activities are up to date
- Manage breakdowns on shift
- Must be able to work shifts
- On stand by at intervals, own transport essential
- When needed weekend work is available
- Shutdown maintenance availability
- Be a suitable role model for our apprentices on site
- Understand customer specific requirements
- Adhere to SHE standards of the plant
- Assist and intervene in any process that is not producing quality products as set down by specifications and procedures
