A fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP)Company specialising in managed IT services and cybersecurity solutions for South African businesses is looking for a motivated, results-driven New Business Development Executive to help expand our client base and build long-term relationships within the SME market. About the Role The New Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and converting prospects into long-term managed IT and cybersecurity clients.This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys networking, building relationships, and helping businesses improve their technology and cybersecurity posture. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strategic business relationships and referral networks. Attend networking events, business forums, and industry engagements. Identify and engage prospective SME clients. Generate opportunities for cybersecurity assessments and managed IT service engagements. Present SwitchedOnIT's value proposition and service offerings. Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and manage opportunity progression. Arrange and facilitate client meetings and discovery sessions. Work closely with technical and account management teams during client onboarding. Maintain professional communication and follow-up with prospective clients. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets. Minimum Requirements: 3–5 years' experience in B2B sales or business development. Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and target driven. Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling ability. Valid driver's licence and reliable transport are advantageous. Advantageous Experience: Experience selling Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, SaaS, Cloud, or other technology solutions. Experience selling recurring service contracts. Existing professional network within the Johannesburg SME market. Comfortable engaging with business owners and executive decision-makers. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written). Passion for technology, cybersecurity, and helping businesses grow. What We Offer: Basic salary of R10,000 – R20,000 depending on experience.
