ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity is available for an energetic, highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide professional administrative, business and personal support to a Chairperson.
The successful candidate must have a strong personality, excellent organisational abilities and the confidence to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the first point of contact, handling telephone calls and correspondence.
Manage diaries, meetings and appointments.
Arrange business travel, transport and accommodation.
Organise events, meetings and conferences.
Monitor important tasks, deadlines and commitments.
Prepare reports, presentations and business correspondence.
Maintain databases, filing systems and administrative procedures.
Liaise with employees, suppliers and clients.
Compile and manage expense records.
Provide general business and personal administrative support to the Chairperson.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 35 years of age.
Female candidate required for this position.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both written and spoken.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills.
Confident personality with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Deadline-driven, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile.
Reliable own transport is essential.
Ability to handle confidential business and personal information professionally.
