To manage the delivery of the MyPlayers programme in designated regions.
Manage the MyPlayers Programme and player / administrator relationships at the specific union.
Manage the delivery of the following strategies, setting and achieving performance benchmarks for each strategy:
Dual career planning and support, including tracking players at the specific union who are part of the MyPlayers Bursary Programme / players currently studying;
Provision of life skills in a personal or group setting wellness workshops and support;
Provide access to player relating to specialist support and counselling;
Coordination of specific support programs;
Player transition support (life after rugby);
Arranging workshops (financial skills, anti-doping and basic computer skills);
Co-ordination and implementation of strategies as deemed appropriate by the National Player Development Manager (NPDM)
The drawing up or updating of a Personal Development Plan (PDP) for each player based on the initial meeting and previous engagement with the player over time.
Develop an operational plan for the delivery of services within the union.
Management of job shadowing and internship opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Registration with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) will be an advantage. Honours/Masters Degree in Psychology/ Industrial Psychology will be advantageous.
3-4 years relevant working experience.
