Mirna Butler Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and reputable building services company based in Brisbane, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician seeking to advance their career in a professional, dynamic environment.
About this role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems across a range of commercial and residential sites. This is a hands-on role requiring both strong technical knowledge, experience and excellent communication skills, as the position involves direct client interaction and detailed reporting.
Location:
Based in Brisbane, Queensland, with willingness to travel for projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code B Driver’s License (South Africans driver’s licence requires knowledge and practical tests in Australia).
- Qualification / Red Seal in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Ventilation (South Africa)
- At least 5-8 years of experience in air conditioning maintenance and installation, including:
- Split Units
- VRV Systems
- Refrigeration Systems
- Fault finding on AC systems
- Knowledge of Chilled Water Systems (advantageous)
- International experience (Advantageous)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience managing a team and planning daily task)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (essential)
- Presentable and comfortable interacting with clients
- Willing to relocate to Australia

Remuneration:
- AUD $80,000 – $100,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
