Job Title: HVAC Technician Location: Pretoria Company: A Trusted Job Mail Client Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs. • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal system performance. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on-site. • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and system maintenance. • Advise clients on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency improvements. • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure high-quality service delivery. Requirements: • Fully bilingual: English & Afrikaans. • Matric certificate or equivalent. • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (preferred). • HVAC certifications or technical training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. • Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical components. • Code 8 driver’s license. • Ability to perform repairs from units and some knowledge of chillers will be an advantage. Be able to troubleshoot and report. • Computer literate: able to use emails, catalogs, and spare parts control software., and various HVAC software and devices. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Non-smoker preferred. Desirable Attributes: • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or at heights when required. • Willingness to attend ongoing training and stay updated on industry standards.
