Job Summary

This position calls for a resourceful and an enthusiastic candidate who is ready and fit to work as part of a diverse team, forging close relationships in Mining, Engineering and Procurement departments and the incumbent should be flexible to operate in a high-speed mining development project. JOB SUMMARY BI Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electronic systems implemented in the mining environment / Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) equipment within the electrical/C&I/ Mechanical/ TMM discipline according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS •Grade 12 •N3 Certificate/NQF Leve 4 Qualification in Electrical/ Electronic/Millwright/Mechanical/ Information Technology Field •Trade Test Certificate. •National Diploma in Mechatronics as an added advantage. •3 years’ experience as Artisan Electrician/ Auto Electrician/ Millwright/ Diesel Mechanic /IT Officer •Experience in project work in the mining sector •Exposure in maintenance of software and Mining Information Systems •Networking and Canbus •Supervisory Development Programme (SDP) or equivalent •Valid Driver’s License Closing Date: 13 May 2022
