Job Summary
Company and Job Description:You will lead the full physical execution of engineered treatment systems, including fabrication, assembly, installation, commissioning, and fault‑finding. You will also oversee workshop activities, ensuring workflow efficiency, build quality, and technical standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
System Build & Fabrication
- Construct stainless‑steel, skid‑mounted treatment systems
- Perform precision welding, pipework layout and full mechanical assembly
- Interpret technical drawings and convert them into complete physical systems
- Prepare systems for commissioning, testing, and client handover
Installation & Commissioning
- Install complete water treatment and bottling systems on‑site
- Conduct electrical wiring for pumps, dosing systems, UV, ozone units and control panels
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues independently
- Commission systems to operational and performance standards
Workshop Leadership
- Oversee workshop operations and technician workflow
- Ensure consistency and high build‑quality across all projects
- Identify improvements in assembly processes and system reliability
- Train and mentor junior technicians and installers
Technical Scope Includes
- Filtration and purification processes
- Pumps, hydraulics, and fluid handling
- Electrical control panels, wiring and instrumentation
- Automated bottling and packaging systems
- Ozone and UV treatment technologies
- Stainless‑steel plumbing, fittings, and pipework
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- A recognised trade qualification
OR - Extensive proven hands‑on experience in water treatment, system installation, or industrial plant work
- Welding and stainless‑steel fabrication
- Electrical wiring and control system integration
- Plumbing, hydraulics, and pump systems
- Mechanical assembly and component alignment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and system layouts
