Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Operations Manager will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires managing multiple engineering projects, improving operational efficiency, and fostering OEM partnerships.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational activities across all business units.
- Oversee engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage project resources, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support Bid and Sales teams with technical input.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare weekly operational reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field will be advantageous.
- 1-2 years' experience in Operations or Project Management.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in engineering, mining, or construction sectors.
- Knowledge of project planning and contract management.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Must have valid drivers license and own reliable transport.
Advantageous:
- Professional registration with ECSA or equivalent.
- Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience with OEM partnerships and management systems.
