Job Summary
Located in the remote western reaches of the Serengeti National Park, expect a private Serengeti safari experience complete with resident hippo pods and remarkable lion prides. Perfectly situated on the banks of a tributary of the River.Candidate requirements:
- Must have a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a 5-star luxury safari lodge
- Preference is for local candidates or candidates with experience in Tanzania
- Must have a good working knowledge of all lodge departments, particularly FOH, Kitchen, and F&B departments
- Must be able to confidently host guests (drinks, sundowners, and dinners)
- An energetic, proactive person with a well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience, and the ability to provide that experience
- Passionate about sustainable tourism and conservation
- Driven, energetic, compassionate, and ambitious, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Unrelenting attention to detail and high standards
- Structured manager with experience in leading diverse teams
- Practical with some experience in maintenance
- Experience in mobile camping and safaris advantageous
This is a permanent live-in position.
