Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full operational risk management lifecycle, providing a consolidated view of risk across the organisation
- Develop and maintain robust operational risk frameworks, governance structures, and assurance processes
- Coordinate combined assurance activities, including audit and reliance planning, to ensure effective risk coverage
- Continuously monitor and assess the operational risk profile, implementing controls to mitigate financial and operational losses
- Drive process improvement initiatives, including automation and efficiency enhancements
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience within Risk and/or Audit functions
- At least 5 years’ experience in a management role with proven leadership capability
- Experience operating at a senior level within highly regulated environments
Skills:
- Strong understanding of operational risk, governance, compliance, and assurance frameworks
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate, influence, and challenge stakeholders at executive level
Non-negotiables:
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement capability
- Strong understanding of risk processes and regulatory requirements
