Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and contribute to the development of modern analytics platforms in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop predictive, statistical, and machine learning models to support forecasting, segmentation, and risk analysis.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Translate analytical outputs into practical business insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Support portfolio and client analytics by evaluating performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Build automated reporting and analytics solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual analytical or reporting processes.
- Extract, transform, and analyse data using advanced SQL and Python.
- Contribute to dashboards, internal analytics tools, and cloud‑based data platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
(Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.) - 3–6 years’ experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering, preferably within financial services or a commercial environment.
- Strong experience working with large datasets using SQL and Python.
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and reporting.
- Experience applying machine learning techniques is advantageous.
- Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks, Synapse, or similar cloud environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently.
