Experience required:
Current PADI MSDT certification or higher
Current EFRI teaching status
3 years plus experience as a PADI professional
Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance
Current third-party liability insurance (PADI or DAN preferred)
Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
This is a permanent Live in Position for an individual
Duties include:
Guide all certified guests on two dives per day
Sell and conduct diving courses to guests
Brief and (time permitting) guide all guests wishing to snorkel
Interact with all guests throughout their stay
Host cocktails and dinner as per the senior management hosting schedule
As part of the senior management team you will be required to assist (as and when necessary) in many aspects of running the lodge
Conduct turtle monitoring duties
Attend the daily morning meeting
Wear uniform and name badge every day
Management of the dive centre and boatmen team

Responsibilities :
• HR procedures and ensuring that the lodge acts within the employment and pension acts.
• Ensure ultimate guest relations in the lodge and that the “at home” personal attention levels are maintained
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and maintenance
• Oversee the food and dining experience to ensure it remains at the existing high standards.

Requirements :
• A minimum of 5 year’s work experience as a Lodge General Manager in a remote 5-star environment
• Good technical acumen to be able to troubleshoot building, electrics & plumbing issues in a remote environment
• Exceptional Food and Beverage knowledge
• Financial awareness and a working knowledge of small business management
• High standards of service excellence and a passion for the industry
