We have an opportunity for an HVAC Technician/General Maintenance Worker to join our team in Stellenbosch on a full time basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- HVAC technical qualifications (air-conditioning technician) / HVAC certification
- Preferably 5 years previous experience
- Braising and soldering skills
- Experience working as a refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps repairs, installations,
fault finding, maintenance and servicing
- Proficient with manual and power tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
- Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
- Must be well-presented
- Flexibility and Accountability
- Vaccination Certificate
Job Description
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and
equipment
- Work on freezer rooms, ice-machines and display fridges
- Routine services on ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment
- Electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety
Act
