An opportunity is available for a highly skilled and trained live-out Housekeeper to service a bespoke household and 5* luxury hospitality establishment. Requirements Candidates applying are to be dedicated, hardworking , reliable enthusiastic, loyal . Candidate must be a non- smoker and non- drinker South African or with legitimate work permit . Ideally; have a Housekeeping Diploma and a min of 5 years working experience within a 5* establishment with excellent laundry and ironing skills . A good command of the English language, fluent communication skills and passionate about delivering stellar service consistently . Ability to organise , coordinate, take accountability and meet daily expectations timeously at the highest level of silver service . Must be a team player and have an ability to lead a team. Able to work 6 day weeks with overtime and be flexible for evening and weekend work . Professional; passionate and poised conduct essential. Responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Full service housekeeping for a luxury establishment with 7 suites . Keeping rooms and living areas clean and tidy at all times. Maintaining deep cleaning rosters and adhering to the time schedules . Tidying up rooms and turn-down service in the evenings . Be polite and accommodating. Be friendly and respectful. Assist visiting guests with daily requirements Prepare and serve with the Kitchen team, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cheeseboards , canapés and beverages. Table settings , floral arrangements , maintaining indoor plants and preparing welcome baskets . Cleaning and wash-up after service. Assist in planning for special occasions . Daily Duties Duties will include but no be limited to: Vacuuming; dusting, sweeping, polishing and washing floors, bathrooms and toilets, cleaning windows, patios and walls to the highest standard. Washing; ironing and changing linen, turning mattresses, tidying up bedrooms and bathrooms twice daily and all living areas. Keeping cupboards, drawers, counters and everything tidy and organised in the rooms and living areas at all times. Assisting with all luggage and planning and packing for travel . Managing and taking care of the household in the absence of the employers. Washing and ironing clothes and maintenance thereof. Keeping all areas around the household clean and tidy at all times. Other duties may also be requested for you to complete as and when required and at the discretion of the employers. Must be meticulous and organised. Must reside in Paarl or close surrounding areas.
