Job Summary
A well-established lodge in Addo is seeking a fully skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the lodge facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repairs of lodge buildings and facilities
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Preventative maintenance planning and execution
- Painting, tiling, carpentry, and general upkeep
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Handyman / Maintenance Technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- General building maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, hands-on, and solution-driven
- Contactable references
Advantageous
- Previous experience in a lodge, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Trade qualification (Electrical/Plumbing)
