Job Summary
Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance schedules for all buildings, guest areas, staff accommodation, and grounds.
Manage complex systems including solar power, generators, water treatment, sewage, refrigeration, and HVAC.
Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff, contractors, and technicians.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including conducting regular safety inspections.
Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of tools, and spare parts procurement.
Collaborate with lodge managers to minimize guest disruptions and maintain high-quality guest experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
At least 8+ years’ experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably within luxury lodges, resorts, or hotels.
Experience with Sustainability (Solar/Off grid), desalination/water treatment and CAPEX planning
Strong proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Proactive, analytical, and able to work under pressure in remote environments.
Valid driver’s license
