Job Summary
REQUIREMENT:
- RSA ID and legal residence essential
- Previous experience as a Front Office Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Front of House Manager, Boutique Hotel Manager, or similar luxury hospitality role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent guest relations and communication abilities
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Experience training, mentoring, and developing hospitality teams
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role
- Exceptional attention to detail and service standards
- Professional presentation and guest-focused approach
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Valid Driver's License advantageous
- Hospitality qualification advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all Front of House operations and guest-facing departments
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure
- Manage guest communications, requests, and special arrangements
- Train, mentor, motivate, and develop the hospitality team
- Implement and maintain service standards, procedures, and guest experience initiatives
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and management teams
- Ensure presentation standards are maintained throughout the property
- Assist with special events, celebrations, and guest activities
- Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous service improvements
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally and efficiently
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operational flow and guest satisfaction
- Uphold the lodge's reputation for excellence and luxury hospitality
PACKAGE:
- R18,000 – R22,000 per month (Negotiable DOE)
- Live-in accommodation provided
