Job Summary
Duties:
Bring the brand to life online, drive direct bookings and showcase the essence of the brand.
Lead the social media presence across various platforms.
Curating and executing high-impactful social media content that enhances brand awareness, engages our audience, and ultimately increases engagement and most importantly, direct bookings.
Social media: Ensure there is alignment between social media and the business goals. Drive direct bookings and increase revenue through organic campaigns. Manage and optimize social media profiles across the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube. Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the brand remains a leader in luxury travel.
Content Creation and Storytelling: Create visually stunning, experience-driven content that sells the luxury travel lifestyle. Craft compelling captions and engaging storytelling that highlight the brand’s unique offerings, from game drives to fine dining experiences. Collaborate with the marketing team to align the social media content and calendar with broader campaigns. Create and edit short-form videos, graphics and other multimedia content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar).
Community Engagement and Brand Building: Actively engage with guests, followers, and influencers to build a loyal community. Respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews to maintain a strong brand reputation. Leverage user-generated content (UGC) and collaborate with guests, travel bloggers and influencers.
Social Commerce and Direct Booking Growth: Utilise social media platforms to guide users towards direct bookings. Implement targeted remarketing campaigns that retarget engaged users and encourage. Leverage social media campaigns and incentives to drive more direct sales.
Analytics and Performance Reporting: Track and report on KPIs such as engagement, reach, conversions, and revenue attribution. Use analytical tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Metricool, etc.) to inform strategy. Provide insights and recommendations for improving organic social performance.
Influencer and Supplier Management: Identify and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators. Oversee collaborations with suppliers such as videographers to ensure high-quality content.
Collaboration and Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with marketing, sales and reservation teams to align messaging and campaigns. Support property teams in generating on-brand content and engaging with guests. Collaborate with PR and Digital Marketing teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
Administrative Tasks: Scheduling posts using media management tools (Meta Business suite). Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
At least 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in luxury hospitality or travel
Proven experience driving direct revenue through organic social media efforts
Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and high-net-worth customer engagement
Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube)
Experience with social media scheduling and analytical tools
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
Basic design and video editing skills
Experience in working with influencers and content creators
Strong ability to multitask, manage campaigns, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
