Job Summary

Our client, a restaurant situated in Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to deal with customers and to oversee the front house.

Requirements:

Hardworking person with previous working experience as a Restaurant Manager.
Works well under pressure and can keep a level head, our client’s restaurant is very busy over weekends.
Strong ability to deal with difficult customers in a gentle and friendly manner.
Must be exceptionally good with customers and can ease any situation.
Have a good working knowledge of Micros / similar POS systems.
The person must have a fun, easy-going nature, be easy to talk to, but not over-familiar.
Highly organised and self-motivated.
Need to take initiative.
Start as soon as possible

Their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Placing orders at the end of the day from the kitchen and front of house.
Cash up at the end of the day.
Locking the shop at the end of the day.
Manage online order collections.
Manage customer complaints and expectations in a professional manner.
Managing the front of house staff.
Set-up and break down procedure at start of day and end of day.
Must have common sense and be able to use their own initiative.
Own transport is ideal.

Area: Cape Town.

Salary around R25 000 – R30 000 per month.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
