Job Summary
Our client, a well-established and reputable business based in Bloemfontein, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented CCTV Controller to join their team. This role is ideal for an organised individual with strong coordination and administrative skills, responsible for managing vehicle operations, ensuring fleet efficiency, compliance, and supporting the smooth delivery of products.
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Proven experience in CCTV monitoring (advantageous)
- Experience in monitoring and managing CCTV systems will be highly advantageous
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Basic technical understanding of CCTV systems and monitoring procedures
- Computer literacy, including MS Office and fleet management systems
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
Skills required
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance records
- Good problem-solving skills to handle breakdowns, delays, and operational challenges
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and basic vehicle maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and fleet management software
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

Duties and responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV camera systems continuously to ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, and assets
- Identify, observe, and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or irregular behaviour
- Maintain constant surveillance of key operational areas, including entrances, exits, loading zones, production areas, and parking areas
- Report incidents promptly to management and assist with investigations by reviewing and providing relevant CCTV footage
- Ensure all CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report any faults, damage, or technical issues immediately
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities in the CCTV logbook or system
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying authorised access
- Support loss prevention by monitoring stock movement and identifying any potential theft, shrinkage, or unauthorised removal of goods
- Retrieve, download, and securely store CCTV footage as required for investigations or management review
- Work closely with management and security personnel to ensure compliance with company security procedures
- Ensure confidentiality of all CCTV footage and security-related information
- Assist with general security-related administrative duties when required
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times
- Perform additional related duties as requested by management

Monday - Friday: 07h00 - 17h00
