SUMMARY OF DUTIES (but not limited to):
Following instructions on the preparation and presentation of dishes and ensuring preparation according to correct recipe and quantities, garnished, portioned and sized;
Demonstrate and help maintain high level of service that consistently exceeds the expectations of the customers.
Understanding and following high level of consistency on all products and processes.
Assisting and monitoring the food stock and stock movement, FIFO, inventory, ensuring stock rotated and controlled.
Check quality of products and quantities delivered, enforcing and offering best quality products available, storing of deliveries.
Understanding and awareness of food costs and percentages, how daily departmental costs influences profit and loss results.
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Following orders from superiors, managers.
Complying to food hygiene policies and procedures, following kitchen cleaning schedules, ensuring section kept clean and tidy.
Flexibility and willingness to assist where needed.
Using the POS system as required.
Basic + provident fund package.
