About the Role
Our client, operating in the machinery and equipment industry, is seeking a driven, energetic and self-motivated Sales Representative to contribute to business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in sales. A candidate with a qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field and limited experience will be considered, provided they demonstrate the right attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn.Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Proactively identify and approach potential customers.
- Promote the company's range of machinery, equipment, and related solutions.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and suitable solutions for their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Follow up on sales enquiries, quotations, and prospective business.
- Work towards achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate; a qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Previous sales experience would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
- An interest in machinery, equipment, or technical products.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, confident, and commercially minded approach.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport, subject to the role's travel requirements.
