2. Minimum Requirements
Education
Relevant Diploma or Degree in:
Project Management
Media / Communications / Journalism
Digital or Technology-related fields (advantage)
Project management certification preferred (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum).
Experience
5+ years experience in project management within the media, publishing, digital content, or broadcasting sectors.
Proven track record managing end-to-end digital media projects, including content production, platform launches, campaigns, and workflow optimisation.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (Editorial, Creative, Commercial, Tech, Product, Digital Marketing).
3. Core Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of mediumlarge-scale media projects.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource schedules.
Ensure deliverables meet editorial, commercial, and technical standards.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with editors, product owners, developers, designers, content teams, and commercial teams.
Facilitate clear communication and ensure alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and escalate blockers timeously.
Risk & Budget Management
Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans.
Track project costs and manage budgets effectively.
Ensure compliance with business policies and governance processes.
Team Leadership
Guide project coordinators or junior PMs where applicable.
Drive collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence within teams.
Process Optimisation
Implement best-practice project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
Improve workflows within content production, digital platforms, and editorial operations.
Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong understanding of media and publishing workflows.
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
Familiarity with CMS platforms, digital analytics, and newsroom systems (advantage).
