Serve as the lead point of contact for all assigned client account management matters
Coordinate and oversee various stakeholders in the client approval process (budget, concepts, and modules)
Ensure the operational implementation of a fit for purpose strategy by staying abreast of client practices
Manage and coordinate a portfolio and range of assigned key client accounts to achieve long-term success for both the client and the organization
Drive change and influence future change/projects to support and achieve desired improvements
Promote client requirements, whilst keeping sight of the need to increase revenue and improve margins for the business
Approach the management of assigned accounts in a systematic way by identifying and defining the strategy to develop and grow the accounts profitably
Present solutions based on the careful analysis of the current state and an understanding of the desired state the client is looking to achieve
Lead tactical client account planning and execution
Coordinate and manage cross functional teams to deliver on client expectations
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Prepare and preset reports on account status that communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
Monitor market trends and adjust account strategies and efforts accordingly
Proactively respond to existing client’s requests, resolve their queries timely, and aspire to deliver positive customer experience
Suggest suitable actions that can help improve sales performance and identify strategies aligned to opportunities to grow the account
Support challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Achieve client retention and growth targets
Lead client planning efforts in the assigned accounts
Conduct bi-annual programme and service delivery reviews with the relevant client stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Ability to co-ordinate various stakeholders in the client approval process (budget, concepts, modules)
Ability to manage change management, scope creep and clients’ expectations
Ability to communicate client expectations and create the environment for cross functional discussions
Strong knowledge of CRM software / platforms, e.g., Salesforce.com
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Ability to identify clients and buyers’ problems and present solutions the company implement to solve
Strong knowledge of all products and services
Ability to clearly communicate goals to the client and create detailed strategic opportunity plans
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including frequent use of PowerPoint and Excel
Strong planning and organising skills
Ability to recognize opportunities for commercial differentiation
Ability to identify opportunities with the framework of existing contracts
Strong communication and active listening skills
Ability to recognize when services provided by other business units/verticals could benefit the client
Ability to build strong business relationship with clients to understand the business needs, business environment and challenge
Strong reporting and interpreting skills
Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications, including ability to devise and apply solutions in consultation with various stakeholders
