Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing assigned key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will drive sales volumes, revenue, and margin targets, prepare and present proposals and quotations, negotiate pricing and agreements, and proactively identify opportunities for new product applications and value-added solutions.
In addition, the role involves monitoring market trends and competitor activity, providing accurate forecasts and account plans, and working closely with production, logistics, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution. Strong reporting, compliance, and administrative discipline are essential.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) - essential
Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business (advantageous)
3–5 years’ sales experience within corrugated packaging, paper, or FMCG manufacturing
Proven key account management experience
Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
Solid understanding of corrugated packaging products and applications
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively
Proficient in Microsoft Office
